Dine out and enjoy a bottle of wine with your sweetheart. Sleep in. Read a book by the fireplace. Hunt for morels mushrooms in the spring and sport a pole during the steelhead run. Fourth of July Parade, Regatta weekend at the end of July, Labor Day weekend, and all the weeks surrounding has made Harbor House a summer destination among families and friends for generations. But hurry summer reservations book very quickly. We recommend that you book a stay many months in advance. One week minimum stay. Save $750 off peak weekly rate. Winters in northern Michigan almost always offer an abundance of snow. If you are a skier or snowboarder, then you already know about Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. Why not stay right in town so that you are close to the finest dining and shopping. Besides, the slopes are just a few minutes away. We suggest that you make reservations at least one month in advance. Two night minimum night stay. Weekly check-in is on Friday at 4 PM and check-out is on the following Friday at 10 AM. Weekend check-in is on Friday at 4 PM and check-out is on Sunday at 10 AM. If snowmobiling is your thing, then you will be glad to know that Harbor Springs is a stop along the Moose Jaw Trail, so you can drive your sled right through town to the front door of Harbor House, since the city streets are generally open to snowmobile traffic. The Moose Jaw Trail connects into the northern Michigan snowmobile trail network including nearby Mackinaw, Indian River and Chandler trails. Christmas is a special time in Harbor Springs. A soaring Christmas tree is placed in the middle of Main Street, and traffic is rerouted! The town's festive decorations are simply beautiful and the Christmas shopping is fantastic. Have the merriest Christmas in Harbor Springs! But hurry accommodations during Christmas book very quickly. We recommend that you book a stay many months in advance. One week minimum stay, and contact us to arrange the specific dates of your stay to coincide with the holidays. Check-in is at 4 PM on the day of arrival date and check-out is at 10 AM on the day of departure. We do encourage and are glad to accept reservations for upcoming seasons well into the future. We ask for one-half of the rent and a $200.00 security deposit to confirm and hold a reservation. The remaining balance is due in full at least 10 days before your date of arrival. Please no smoking, and no pets, and other restrictions may apply. For safety, we do not allow our guest to use the upper bunk beds in the upper bedroom.

book a stay   Helpful hints… In the warmer seasons, you may want to bring beach shoes, towels, chairs, and of course, beach toys.  SPF lotion and insect repellent are a good idea.  Bikes, tennis rackets, roller blades, fishing gear, and don't forget the golf clubs. During cold weather, be sure to bring all of your snow sports equipment. No matter the season, Harbor House offers books, playing cards, and a several board games for days indoors. Even so, you may want to bring some of your family favorites. A VCR is provided, and video rentals are available locally. There are lots and lots of things to do.
